On my online workbook this week: this NEEDS to be at the top of my (our?) to-do list

Dear

This week's inspiration is a... here we go. It’s all pumpkin spiced from here on. Well, until things turn grateful and then scary and then start to twinkle.

My tip for you this week is to double up on the thickness of the leaf circles. Create a really stable circle that will hold its shape so that you can support your floral details on the circles without it collapsing or deforming. The easiest way is to create a longer leaf garland by gluing two (picture above) or three blades together and then simply roll them so that they overlap. Secure the end with floral glue and set it aside while you start on the next one so that they are thoroughly set and secure. As the circles dry in place they will become even stronger and you can replace the fresh floral details throughout the season and simply enjoy the dried armature as it matures.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine

ps: Happy first design of Autumn flower buddies. Or if it is Spring where you live… simply make a green leaf collar and fill with Spring florals as they appear.
