Mother’s Day is a bit earlier this year and like every year the 18th of March will be a busy, busy day for Florists. Flowers are still the most popular Mother’s Day gift and with the lavish style trends showcased at the Oscars it is predicted that the spending will also be more generous this year.

At the end of a long dark winter or a crazy hot summer it should be no surprise that the change of season will be trends worth watching. The brightest shock of colour is paired with calming neutrals and bold patterns add a touch of individuality to designs. But after seeing the amazing food display served by Wolfgang Puck at the Oscars you can be sure tiny bite size everything will be trendy. Look out for floral mini “bites” this spring or autumn (similar to the floral sushi trend of a while ago).
