The day before yesterday (1 July 2013) was the International Floral Launch of the new Gloriosa rothschidiana named after the floral artist Tomas de Bruyne at the World Market Center in Las Vegas. The breeder and grower of this special "Tomas de Bruyne" Gloriosa flower , Richard van Ruiten developed the flower over the last 12 years and chose Las Vegas as the location for the launch to coincide with the American Institute of Floral Designers' convention entitled Passion
