On my online workbook this week: Notice That?/!

Dear

This week's inspiration is the beauty of designing in deep, clear water. For me the prettiest part of this design turned out to be the way the stems fall below the "meadow"

They continue the line I was creating... just... so. Don't you agree?

My tip for you this week is to place the grass in water to see if it will hydrate. Not all the blades of grass will, though. Place the grass that remains floppy and dehydrated flat on the sticky tape (from tip to end supported by the tape) first so that it forms the base layer. Then go back in and place the hydrated grass blades through the holes so that they remain in water to create the second layer… slightly above the sticky tape to start to create some height as a second layer. Then place the longest quaking grass flowers to create the direction (slightly wind blown to lean to one side- both under and above the water) and height of the design.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
