On my online workbook this week: Grateful Heart

Dear

This week's inspiration is... thankfulness.

The tip for you this week is to use the curve in the round Kenzan to anchor the leaf in a slightly exaggerated open position.

As the leaf matures it tends to fold close. Cut away the entire stem end when you insert the leaf into the teeth of the Kenzan. This spongy vein part is the part that you spear. But spear the leaf one row in from the edge of the Kenzan so that you can use the teeth on both sides to arch the leaf fully open.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine

ps: Book giveaway update: I am so grateful for all the lovely feedback.

I had all the names neatly in a bowl to draw… and I thought… what I really, really, really want to do… is send everyone a book. And that is exactly what I did. Special thank you to everyone who took the time to write to me about your experience here on the My Creative Workbook website. It was amazing to hear from you. The comments are on my notice board for us to refer to as we design the new look website going forward. Your comments have truly touched my heart. And… your book is on its way.

If you are considering buying a copy of the book Amazon is currently offering a 5% discount both in Canada and USA and a -12% in the UK. Have a look in your local store- it might be on sale there too.

I can just imagine what visiting here would smell like... Lush Canopies of Hundreds of Purple Flowers Erupt from Japan’s Wisteria stunning, right!?!
