On my online workbook this week: Drop in for a moment

Dear

This week’s inspiration is that moment when your flowers open… and yes! It is the vivid blue you hoped it was….

My design note for you is about removing the woven disk from the glass you shaped it around. Put your hands around the container to hold everything together, and start to wiggle the weave upwards. A bit at a time. As soon as it lifts up slightly, turn the container and wiggle the next section out.

Wiggle… turn… wiggle… turn… Remember to wiggle it as a section (see the pictures above) not a leaf.

Until you can lift the entire weave out without it falling apart so that you can place it snugly inside the same container like a stopper-lid for the flowers to rest on.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
