Last night I did a Floral Art demonstration at The Capilano Flower Arrangers club. Over the next few weeks I will show each of the designs in detail and add the design tutorials.

This week I'll look at the basic mechanics and Floral Art structures, constructions and armatures used in the demonstration.

The latest, greatest thing on the design front is... building of nests. Whether it's a nest for spring or something more cozy to hibernate in over winter, nests are the thing to look out for right now. But if it's a nest in nature you are admiring please leave it undisturbed and unexposed. If it's a nest for yourself (whether indoors or out) make it uniquely you.
